About Me

In the last two years I left behind all of my professional contacts and clients, moved to Denver, got married and bought a house!

2009 was a wonderful success! I covered so many beautiful weddings this summer and added many, many friends along the way. Not only do my clients love the photos I create for them, they can’t believe how much fun they had in the process! I use my photojournalistic skills to unobtrusively capture all of the little moments that makeup your day. I also love creating intimate and beautiful portrait situations that illustrate your love and style. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed so that your personality can shine through.

My years as a newspaper and freelance photographer taught me how to find the peak moment and capture it, how to light subjects on the fly and use every bit of my personality to make each person comfortable in front of the camera. There is nothing more exciting than capturing moments that a couple and their families will hold dear the rest of their lives.

I earned a Bachelor of Journalism in Photojournalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
.
I belong to the National Press Photographer’s Association, Sportsshooter.com, theknot.com and weddingwire.com.
